 Art Spectrum Colourfix papers are sheets of acid-free hot press watercolour paper screen primed with Art Spectrum Colourfix Primer.
With its 20 dense, lightfast colours and a fine deep tooth, Colourfix is a superb, coloured substrate for pastel, soft pastel, charcoal, watercolours, inks, gouache, silverpoint, gaphite and coloured pencils, acrylic, oil pastels, crayon and even oil paints. For oil painting, Colourfix Paper requires a light coat of an acrylic painting medium. Art Spectrum Gel Medium mixed with oil paint is quick drying and give good results. Experimentation is worthwhile. |
